I've just about decided that my MacBook is a bit too heavy for the sort of commuting lifestyle that I've adopted for the moment, and I'm thinking about getting myself a netbook of some sort.
The classic choices appear to be either the Asus eee 901, or the Acer A110. What I am looking for is solid state disc (I don't need / want large amounts of storage or a HD to worry about), long battery life, and small size. The only real question is, do I go for a Linux or Windows netbook? With Linux, you usually get a slightly better spec, but a windows version is likely to have less problems with 3G modems.
Humm. Decisions.
