Work go splodey!

First day back at work after the redundancies (had 3 days hols to burn), and things are slowly starting to go to hell in a hand basket!
I'm having to do the of 4 people, and the work that the other 3 people were working on is no where near complete, and in some cases looks like it will have to be thrown away and restarted!
AS time goes on, I expect other things slowly go from bad to worse.

Sounds about right. This is why you should get out before you go nuts.

Unless they're willing to pay you the other 4 salaries on top of your own.

(I do have to wonder how they justify making people redundant if there's that much work to do)

This is really just cleaning up the stuff that got abandoned when they other 3 left. When that's all been sorted out, I think they will re-plan and get it down to just one persons amount of work.
That's the point at which I resign :)
