Courses

I think it's time to start planning my next course / odd / big thing. So far, I have had:
  • Canada.
  • New York.
  • Australia.
  • Fashion Design course.
  • Graphic Design course.
  • Fashion Drawing course.
What do I do next?
My current thoughts are:
  • Video making.
  • Sewing.
  • Knitting.
  • Millinery.
  • Photography.
  • Travel somewhere?
Thoughts, anyone?

It's a possibility, but I'm not sure it's different enough from the sort of stuff that I do with a camera at the moment. I suppose it would be looking a lot more at the details and stuff rather than just pointing and clicking

Astronomy?

I dunno. Is it likely that I could do enough in a one week course? If it's a year long type course, I'll almost certainly drop out without something to really push me.

Yes, if it's a practical "observing" course.

There are a couple of these to choose from - you can either do one with Uni of Manc at Joderell Bank (radio astronomy), or if you want to fish out a bit more money and combine it with a holiday abroad you could do the one week Open University course in Mallorca (visual astronomy). The OU one has a bit of extra work to go through before you depart (to get you up to speed), but should only take about 12-20 hours before leaving for the airport. I have no idea on the Uni of Manc course (as I've not done that one).
