Oh - here's an idea - can Susan wear jeans? I totally get what you mean about three people, but it sounds to me like you want Simon to have access to Susan's outgoing personality, and it's easier for women to wear men's clothes than vice versa, if you want to pull traits across the borders. What happens if Susan wears a tshirt and jeans and a ponytail?
