Techie request
Jul. 30th, 2008 11:08 amThere's a good chance someone around here will know this.
I'm looking to buy myself a video camera, partly for the DWCon and mostly for general playing around. I'm trying to decide what to get. There are a number of features to think about.
1) Camerae resolution. HiDef or ordinary def. The version of iMovie I have on the Max supports (I think) HD, so I can edit it.
2) Storage capacity. How much video can I get on the camera before I have to copy it off? I'm unlikely to be *that* far from the computer, so it's not like I'm going to have years of stuff on it.
3) Storage type. Do I go for tape, hard disc or some sort of memory stick?
Comment / suggestions?
