Foriegn travel

Work are threatening to send me abroad (to India) to train the people who have replaced the people who were outsourced. They are talking about sending me out there for 3 month solid, which is much too long. There is the possibility of 2 month long trips, but that would still be too long.
I suppose some people would say I should jump at the opportunity to visit new cultures and learn all about them, but frankly, I don't want to, and I doubt that I would actually get any benefit from it. All I would do is visit the office and the hotel room. If anything, visiting a non-english speaking culture scares the life out of me.
Knowing me, I will end up going out there anyway.
